Reid has also started making many more social appearances--we went to church for the first time two weeks ago, and he did fairly well. We have also been to a few restaurants, and we even went to Aunt Sarah's school to visit and take her lunch on her 30th birthday. I'm starting to get a little more comfortable packing him up, loading and unloading him from the car, and managing all that goes with taking a tiny baby in public.
He continues to grow and change and amaze us! I'm not going to lie, he definitely has his ups and downs. Some days we have so much fun discovering new things, singing songs, reading books and making noises. Other days, Reid is quite high maintenance and spends much of the day screaming. Luckily, there are more good days than bad.
We went to Houston for the wedding of one of Brian's close high school friends. Brian's parents were there so we got lots of quality time in with them. Reid did great in the car both ways, and he did well in the hotel too! (I was nervous that he would scream all night, and we would be those people). Overall, it was a very successful trip, and we look forward to many more travel adventures as a family.
